Signaler Wolf Cub Badge 1928 to 1929

Before a Wolf Cub could earn this badge they must say the following promise “I will do my best to keep on practising signaller after I have won my badge”

Badges are worn on the right arm in parallel rows between the shoulder and elbow

To achieve the Signaller Badge you had to do the following*

Must have knowledge of the alphabet in either Morse or Semaphore.

Must have a knowledge of the calling-up sign and its answer, the general answer, the end of message sign and its answer, the alphabetical check for numerals, and the erase signal. Read and send simple words in Morse or Semaphore, slowly but correctly. Have a practical knowledge of field signalling, signals (whistle) and movement signals [hand or staff).
