There were a number of different badges that were used and produced during World War II. Firstly the ones mentioned above, but also as supplies ran out the UK started to use the badges they were producing for commonwealth countries, which did not have the words boy scout running around the outside and the green circle band was continuous. The UK also printed badges and bound the edge. Badges were in both blue and khaki
The Printed badges were very quick and easy to produce, however as you can see from the pictures did not last as long as the woven and bound badges became faded over time.
