House Orderly Wolf Cub Badge 1929 to 1934
Before a Wolf Cub could earn this badge they must say the following promise “I will do my best to help other people before myself”
Badges are worn on the right arm in parallel rows between the shoulder and elbow
To achieve the House Orderly Badge you had to do the following*
Be able to clean a grate, lay a fire and light it with not more than two matches.
Make a good cup of tea, and fry or poach an egg.
Peel potatoes, and boil them, and know how to cook greens.
Clean a pair of boots.
Make a bed; wash up crockery utensils, etc.
Clean windows, knives and brass work.
